REIKI
Usui Reiki is a gentle, alternative healing mode, in which the Reiki practitioner places their hands over, or gently on, the person receiving the healing, and channels life force energy, also known as chi and prana, into the person. Reiki works on an energetic level, affecting the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Individuals have different experiences with the soothing effects of Reiki according to their healing needs. Generally, Reiki brings calm and relaxation to the body, mind and emotions, and can soothe pain.
Please email me regarding Reiki sessions and Reiki training.
*My Reiki teacher, Arlene Grace Denton (born December 12, 1943-passed July 28, 2010), trained me in Reiki from September of 2000 through March of 2001. She certified me as Reiki Master/Teacher in Usui Reiki on March 27, 2001.
Arlene was compassionate, gracious, kind and inspiring. She encouraged leaps of faith, paired with common sense, to embrace your dreams and live true to your deep Self. She owned Woman's Wish in Occoquan, VA, where she sponsored and led spiritual and creative workshops, sold herbs, books, jewelry, music, and established the Ministry of Light Interfaith Church.
